Motorola could be preparing another addition to its Edge 70 series. New leaked renders have reportedly revealed the design of the Motorola Edge 70 Neo, along with four colour options.
The phone has also appeared in Motorola’s Android 17 testing programme in India. However, Motorola has not confirmed the handset, its specifications or a launch date.
Leaked renders reveal the design
The leaked renders reportedly show the Edge 70 Neo with a flat display and slim bezels. A centred punch-hole cutout sits at the top of the screen.
At the back, the phone appears to feature a raised square camera island. It houses three camera lenses and carries 200-megapixel branding.
Motorola’s batwing logo is positioned near the centre of the rear panel.
The leaked images show four finishes. These include dark green, light blue, olive green and pale pink. The rear panels also appear to use different textures, with the pink version showing a more distinctive pattern.
Motorola has not confirmed the official colour names.
200MP camera could be the highlight
The 200-megapixel branding is one of the most notable details in the leak. However, the available information does not confirm the exact camera sensor or other camera specifications.
Previous reports had linked the Edge 70 Neo with the Motorola Edge 2026, which launched in North America in June. The newly leaked camera branding suggests the two phones could have different specifications.
Therefore, the Edge 70 Neo may not simply be a rebranded version of the Edge 2026.
Android 17 testing hints at an India launch
The Edge 70 Neo name has reportedly appeared in Motorola’s Android 17 beta testing programme in India.
That listing suggests Motorola could be preparing the phone for an Indian launch. Still, there is no official confirmation from the company.
The new handset would join an already crowded Edge 70 family. Motorola launched the standard Edge 70 in India in December 2025. The Edge 70 Fusion and Edge 70 Fusion+ followed in March 2026.
The company then launched the Edge 70 Pro in April. The Edge 70 Pro+ and Edge 70 Max arrived in June and July, respectively.
Interestingly, Motorola did not launch the Edge 70 Fusion+ in India.
What we know so far
For now, the leaked renders provide the clearest look at the purported Edge 70 Neo. The 200-megapixel camera branding and four colour options stand out as the key details.
However, Motorola has yet to confirm the phone. Details such as its processor, display, battery, camera sensors, pricing and launch date remain unknown.
