Lenovo has expanded its LOQ gaming laptop portfolio with a refreshed LOQ 17IRX10 configuration featuring Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070 12GB laptop GPU. The update keeps the laptop’s overall hardware and design intact but increases graphics memory, making the system better equipped for today’s demanding AAA games.
The refreshed model joins the existing LOQ 17 lineup and offers gamers another option as newer titles continue to push VRAM requirements higher.
What’s new in the Lenovo LOQ 17?
The biggest upgrade in the latest Lenovo LOQ 17 is the addition of Nvidia’s RTX 5070 laptop GPU with 12GB of GDDR memory. Previously, the lineup included RTX 5050, RTX 5060, and RTX 5070 variants with 8GB of VRAM.
According to Lenovo’s product specifications, the new graphics card maintains the same 115W Total Graphics Power (TGP) and a boost clock of 2,347MHz as the existing RTX 5070 8GB version. The only notable hardware change is the increase in graphics memory from 8GB to 12GB.
While this may appear like a minor update on paper, additional VRAM has become increasingly valuable for newer PC games that rely on larger textures, ray tracing, and AI-powered upscaling technologies.
