Huawei Pura 90s Pro Series Unveiled Globally: Price, Features, Specifications

Huawei has expanded its flagship smartphone lineup with the global launch of the Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90s Pro Max. The company unveiled both smartphones in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They pack the Kirin 9030S chipset, 6,000mAh batteries, and EMUI 16. However, the Pro Max adds a larger display, a 200-megapixel telephoto camera, and faster charging.

Huawei has opened pre-orders in Malaysia. The company will expand availability to more global markets in the coming months.

Huawei Pura 90s Pro, Pura 90s Pro Max: Price and availability

The Huawei Pura 90s Pro starts at MYR 3,699 (roughly Rs. 87,200) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 512GB version costs MYR 3,999 (roughly Rs. 94,200).

The Huawei Pura 90s Pro Max comes in a single 12GB + 512GB variant. It costs MYR 4,899 (roughly Rs. 1,15,400).

Buyers can choose the Pura 90s Pro in Guava Soda, Orange Soda, Coconut White, and Mulberry Black. Meanwhile, the Pro Max is available in Blush Gold, Orange Ocean, Blaze Purple, and Graphite Black.

Display, performance and AI features

The Pura 90s Pro features a 6.6-inch LTPO OLED display. Meanwhile, the Pro Max gets a larger 6.9-inch LTPO OLED panel. Both displays support a 1Hz to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 1.07 billion colours. They also offer a pixel density of 460ppi.

Huawei powers both smartphones with its Kirin 9030S processor. The phones include 12GB of RAM. The Pro offers up to 512GB of storage, while the Pro Max is available only with 512GB storage.

Both smartphones run EMUI 16. They also include Huawei’s Celia AI assistant. It helps users with route planning, ride booking, reminders, schedule management, and other everyday tasks.

Cameras, battery and connectivity

The Huawei Pura 90s Pro features a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12.5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 50-megapixel macro telephoto camera.

The Pro Max upgrades the camera setup with a 40-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 200-megapixel telephoto camera. It retains the same 50-megapixel primary sensor. Both phones also include a 13-megapixel autofocus selfie camera. They support AI Composition, AI De-glare, 4x optical zoom, and up to 100x digital zoom.

Huawei packs a 6,000mAh battery into both devices. The Pura 90s Pro supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. In comparison, the Pro Max offers 100W wired and 80W wireless charging.

Both smartphones carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. They also support Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB Type-C, NavIC, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Additionally, the Pro Max uses Huawei’s upgraded Kunlun glass, which promises better scratch and drop resistance.

This version should comfortably satisfy Yoast’s recommendations on sentence length and passive voice while maintaining a natural, news-style flow.
