Dell Launches Pro Precision 5, Pro Precision 7, and Pro Precision 7 T1 in India With AI-Focused Intel Core Ultra Processors

Dell has expanded its premium workstation portfolio in India with the launch of the Dell Pro Precision 5, Dell Pro Precision 7, and Dell Pro Precision 7 T1 series. Designed for professionals, creators, engineers, and AI developers, the new lineup combines Intel Core Ultra processors, Nvidia RTX Pro Blackwell graphics, AI-ready NPUs, and enterprise-grade security features.

Alongside the new workstations, Dell also introduced its Deskside Agentic AI solution and announced two new Dell Pro Max systems built for running AI models locally.

Dell Pro Precision lineup: Price in India and availability

Dell has priced the Pro Precision 5 series starting at Rs. 1,49,000.

The Dell Pro Precision 7 series starts at Rs. 2,25,000, while the Dell Pro Precision 7 T1 carries a starting price of Rs. 89,000.

Most models are available for purchase in India immediately. However, the Dell Pro Precision 5 14S and 16S variants will go on sale from August 10.

Dell also confirmed that the Dell Pro Max with GB10 is now available starting at Rs. 4,99,000, while the Dell Pro Max with GB300 will arrive later this year.

What powers the Dell Pro Precision 5 series?

The Dell Pro Precision 5 lineup is available in both 14-inch and 16-inch display options.

The slimmer 14S and 16S variants feature up to Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with integrated Intel Arc Pro graphics or AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors paired with AMD Radeon Pro graphics. They support up to 64GB LPCAMM2 memory running at 8533 MT/s and carry ISV certification for professional software compatibility.

Dell says the 14S weighs just 1.4kg, making it the company’s thinnest and lightest workstation to date. Buyers can choose between 57Wh and 70Wh battery options.

The standard Pro Precision 5 14 and Pro Precision 5 16 models step up to Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3 processors with a dedicated 50 TOPS NPU for on-device AI workloads.

The 14-inch model supports optional Nvidia RTX 500 Blackwell graphics, up to 2TB SSD storage, fast 8533 MT/s memory, and a 72Wh battery.

Meanwhile, the 16-inch version offers optional Nvidia RTX Pro 2000 Blackwell graphics, up to 4TB PCIe Gen 5 storage, and either a 64Wh or 96Wh battery.

What does the Dell Pro Precision 7 series offer?

The Dell Pro Precision 7 family also comes in 14-inch and 16-inch variants.

The Pro Precision 7 14 is powered by 45W Intel Core Ultra processors and supports configurations with up to Nvidia RTX Pro 2000 Blackwell (8GB) graphics. It includes up to 64GB LPDDR5x memory, 4TB SSD storage, and a 72Wh battery, while weighing 1.59kg.

The larger Pro Precision 7 16 upgrades to 50W Intel Core Ultra processors with an integrated 50 TOPS NPU. Buyers can configure it with up to Nvidia RTX Pro 3000 Blackwell graphics, 64GB LPDDR5x RAM, and 8TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD storage. It is backed by a 96Wh battery.

What is the Dell Pro Precision 7 T1?

The Dell Pro Precision 7 T1 is designed as a compact workstation for enterprise users.

It features Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors with a dedicated NPU and optional Nvidia RTX Pro graphics. Like the other models in the lineup, it carries ISV certification, ensuring compatibility with professional applications used in engineering, architecture, content creation, and design.

Connectivity and enterprise security features

Across the entire Pro Precision portfolio, Dell includes Wi-Fi 7, optional 4G or 5G connectivity, and IR cameras.

The laptops also offer Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C, HDMI 2.1, and an optional SmartCard reader for enterprise deployments.

Security remains a major focus. Every model features TPM 2.0, ControlVault 3 Plus Advanced Authentication, and FIPS 140-3-certified security technologies designed to meet enterprise compliance requirements.

Dell also launches Deskside Agentic AI

Beyond hardware, Dell introduced Deskside Agentic AI, a workstation-based solution that enables organizations to run open-weight AI models locally instead of relying on cloud infrastructure.

According to Dell, businesses can reduce AI operating costs by up to 87 percent over two years compared to cloud API usage.

The company also showcased two AI-focused systems.

The Dell Pro Max with GB10 targets developers working with AI models ranging from 30 billion to 200 billion parameters, while the upcoming Dell Pro Max with GB300 is powered by Nvidia’s GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip for larger AI workloads.
