Nothing is bringing cricket fever to its next smartphone launch. Ahead of the July 7 debut of the Nothing Phone 4b, the Carl Pei-led company has teased a special Nothing Phone 4b RCB Edition, borrowing the excitement surrounding Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The teaser comes just days before the official unveiling and hints at a limited-edition version of the company’s upcoming budget smartphone.

Alongside the special edition, fresh leaks also suggest that the Nothing Phone 4b could launch in India with four RAM and storage variants, giving buyers more options than previously expected.

RCB Edition Officially Teased

Nothing has shared a teaser on Instagram that effectively confirms the Nothing Phone 4b RCB Edition.

While the company hasn’t revealed what makes the special edition different, fans can expect exclusive design elements, custom wallpapers, themed accessories, or software tweaks inspired by RCB.

The move isn’t surprising. Smartphone brands have increasingly partnered with sports franchises to create limited-edition devices that appeal to younger buyers and collectors.

More details about the RCB Edition are expected during the July 7 launch event.

Four Storage Variants Could Be on the Way

A new leak suggests the Nothing Phone 4b may arrive in four RAM and storage configurations in India.

Although Nothing hasn’t confirmed the variants, tipster Abhishek Yadav claims buyers could get multiple memory options at launch.

Earlier reports pointed to just two variants:

  • 8GB + 128GB
  • 8GB + 256GB

The latest leak, however, hints that Nothing could expand the lineup further, giving users more flexibility depending on their budget.

The smartphone is also expected to launch in three color options, including the recently teased Blue variant.

Snapdragon Chipset Confirmed

Nothing has already confirmed that the Phone 4b will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

Although the company hasn’t revealed the exact chipset, previous leaks suggest the smartphone could feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor.

The device is also expected to offer:

  • A 6.7-inch AMOLED display
  • 120Hz refresh rate
  • 50MP primary rear camera
  • 5,400mAh battery

These specifications position the Phone 4b as the successor to the Nothing Phone 4a in the company’s affordable smartphone lineup.

Familiar Nothing Design With a New Twist

The Phone 4b continues Nothing’s signature transparent-inspired design language.

Official teasers show a flat rear panel with a dual-camera setup placed in the upper-left corner.

The phone also features the newly introduced Glyph Bar, replacing the traditional Glyph Interface seen on earlier models.

Nothing has also added its signature red recording LED, while the front houses a centered punch-hole display for the selfie camera.

The power and volume buttons sit on the right edge, while an additional button appears on the left side.

India Launch on July 7

Nothing will launch the Phone 4b in India on July 7 at 3:30 PM IST.

The smartphone will be available through Flipkart, and Nothing has already confirmed at least one Blue color option.

Pricing and complete specifications will be announced during the launch event.

Conclusion

The Nothing Phone 4b RCB Edition could help the company stand out in India’s crowded budget smartphone market.

RCB has one of the country’s largest fan bases, especially after its historic IPL 2026 triumph. By introducing a cricket-themed special edition, Nothing is tapping into that enthusiasm while creating additional buzz around the Phone 4b launch.

If the company adds exclusive hardware finishes, themed software, or collectible accessories, the RCB Edition could become one of the most talked-about smartphone launches of the season.
