The OnePlus N6 could become one of the company’s most affordable smartphones this year. Moreover, it combines a massive 8,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display, Android 16, and a 50-megapixel camera. That combination could make it a strong contender in the sub-Rs. 25,000 segment.

OnePlus N6 Display and Camera Details

OnePlus says the N6 features a flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the screen reaches up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness, improving outdoor visibility.

A centered punch-hole cutout houses the 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Meanwhile, the rear panel carries a dual-camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. However, OnePlus has not revealed details about the secondary camera yet.

The company also says the phone records videos at up to 60fps. In addition, users get Dual-View Video mode, allowing them to record with the front and rear cameras at the same time.

Vapor Chamber Cooling for Better Performance

OnePlus has equipped the N6 with a vapor chamber cooling system.

The cooling solution offers a 5,300 sq mm heat dissipation area. As a result, it should keep temperatures under control during gaming, video recording, and long multitasking sessions.

Moreover, vapor chamber cooling usually appears in more expensive smartphones. Therefore, its arrival in the budget segment adds extra value.

The 8,000mAh Battery Is the Biggest Highlight

The battery remains the standout feature of the OnePlus N6.

The smartphone packs a massive 8,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging.

According to OnePlus, users can get up to three days of battery life on a single charge under typical usage. The company also says the battery can maintain its health for up to seven years.

As smartphone users demand longer battery life, OnePlus appears ready to compete aggressively in this area.

OnePlus has not announced the processor officially. However, benchmark listings offer a good idea of what to expect.

The listing also shows 6GB RAM, an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, and Android 16 running with OxygenOS 16.

The phone scored 788 points in the single-core test and 1,993 points in the multi-core test.

Additionally, Geekbench AI recorded a single-precision score of 532, a half-precision score of 945, and a quantized score of 1,072.

Although benchmark scores never tell the full story, they suggest the phone should handle everyday tasks, streaming, and casual gaming comfortably.

Color Options and Availability

OnePlus will offer the N6 in two colors:

  • Fresh Mint
  • Midnight Green

The company will launch the smartphone in India on June 30 at 12 PM IST.

After the launch, buyers can purchase the phone through Amazon and OnePlus retail channels across the country.
