Motorola has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the Moto G37 series and new audio products. The Moto G37 launch includes the Moto G37 Power and Moto Buds 2, targeting buyers looking for larger batteries, upgraded audio, and affordable pricing.

The launch lands at a time when battery life and software support are becoming major buying factors in India’s budget smartphone market. And this time, Motorola appears focused on both.

What does the new series bring?

The Moto G37 lineup arrives with a familiar formula but adds bigger battery ambitions. The Moto G37 Power features a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and brightness reaching up to 1,050 nits.

Motorola also adds Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The device carries an IP64 rating for splash resistance, which adds extra durability for everyday use.

Under the hood, the Moto G37 Power runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It ships with Hello UI based on Android 16.

Motorola says the device will receive an Android 17 update and three years of security support. That move could matter because software longevity has become a larger discussion in budget phones.

Why is battery becoming the main story?

Battery size often decides user experience more than raw specifications. That is where Moto G37 Power attempts to stand out.

The phone packs a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging. Bigger batteries are increasingly becoming a trend among smartphone brands, especially for users who stream, game, and consume content throughout the day.

Motorola appears to be leaning heavily into that shift.

What about cameras and audio?

The Moto G37 Power includes a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.

The phone also gets stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio support. Motorola seems to be pushing entertainment features beyond displays and cameras.

Meanwhile, Moto Buds 2 adds another layer to the launch.

The earbuds feature dual drivers, support dynamic active noise cancellation up to 55dB, and come with Hi-Res audio certification. Motorola claims users can get up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 48 hours combined with the charging case.

Price and availability

Moto G37 Power will be available in 4GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants. Effective launch prices start at ₹15,999 and go up to ₹18,999. The Moto G37 arrives in a single 4GB + 64GB version priced at ₹13,999.

Moto Buds 2 launches at ₹2,999. Sales begin May 25 through Flipkart, Motorola channels, and retail stores across India. As buyers compare battery life, software support, and pricing, the Moto G37 enters a market where value matters more than ever.

For Motorola, the Moto G37 launch now places battery power at the center of the conversation.
