Motorola Razr 60 Ultra and Razr 60 Launched

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra and Razr 60 Unveiled Globally with AI Features and Sleek Flip Designs

Motorola Razr 60 Series Launched: Prices, Features, and What You Should Know

Motorola has launched the Razr 60 Ultra and Razr 60 globally, offering stylish designs and upgraded features. The Razr 60 Ultra starts at $1,299 (around ₹1,10,892), while the Razr 60 is priced from $699 (about ₹59,672). These flip phones will go on sale starting May 7 in the U.S.

If launched in India, the prices could likely align closely with their U.S. conversions, making them premium options for flip phone fans.

Premium Displays and Strong Protection

Both the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra and Razr 60 come with pOLED LTPO displays and are IP48-rated for dust and water resistance. The Razr 60 Ultra impresses with a 7-inch 1.5K display at a 165 Hz refresh rate. It also carries a 4-inch cover screen with up to 3,000 nits peak brightness.

Meanwhile, the Razr 60 features a slightly smaller 6.96-inch FHD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It has a 3.63-inch cover screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. However, the Razr 60’s secondary display offers only a 90 Hz refresh rate, which might feel a bit limited compared to its premium sibling.

Performance Powered by Latest Tech

The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra runs on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip paired with up to 16 GB RAM. It comes with fast UFS 4.1 storage options, making it suitable for heavy users and gamers.

In comparison, the Razr 60 houses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chip with LPDDR4X RAM. Although capable for daily use, it may lag behind when handling intense multitasking or gaming compared to the Ultra model.

Both models run on Android 15 and offer a dedicated AI key to access moto.ai, Motorola’s new smart assistant.

Battery and Charging Speeds

The Razr 60 Ultra packs a 4,700 mAh battery supported by a 68 W fast charger and 30 W wireless charging. On the other hand, the Razr 60 offers a slightly smaller 4,500 mAh battery with 30 W wired and 15 W wireless charging. While both provide decent endurance, the slower wireless charging on the Razr 60 might feel a bit dated.

Cameras Get a Major Boost

Photography lovers will appreciate the Razr 60 Ultra’s 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50 MP ultrawide lens. It even boasts a 50 MP front camera, ensuring sharp selfies.

The Razr 60 carries a 50 MP main sensor as well but settles for a 13 MP ultrawide camera with macro support. Its 32 MP front camera should satisfy selfie enthusiasts, although it’s a step down from the Ultra’s impressive setup.

Early Impressions

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra seems designed for those who want flagship-level performance in a compact flip phone. However, the regular Razr 60, while stylish, may feel slightly underpowered for tech enthusiasts expecting the latest specifications.

Motorola’s focus on durability, smart AI features, and stunning design shows great progress, but a more aggressive pricing, especially for the Razr 60, could have made it more appealing globally.
