Apple Intelligence May Arrive on Vision Pro in April

Apple Intelligence to Enhance Vision Pro with New AI Features

Apple is working on bringing its powerful AI tools, Apple Intelligence, to the Vision Pro headset. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman report, this update could roll out as early as April. Apple plans to introduce these AI features through the visionOS 2.4 software update. A developer version might be available as soon as this week.

Apple Intelligence was first announced in June 2024. Shortly after, reports suggested Apple wanted to integrate these AI capabilities into the Vision Pro. However, the challenge was adapting these tools for a mixed reality experience. Now, it seems Apple is ready to take that step.

What to Expect in the Update

The update is expected to include features like Writing Tools, Genmoji, and Image Playground. These tools aim to enhance productivity and creativity within the Vision Pro ecosystem. However, an upgraded Siri will not be part of this initial rollout. Gurman also noted that Apple’s long-promised Siri upgrade is facing engineering issues and bugs, which could delay its launch.

If Apple meets its timeline, Vision Pro users will soon experience a new level of AI-driven functionality. As the mixed reality headset evolves, Apple Intelligence could make interactions more seamless and engaging. Developers and early testers will likely get a preview before the public release.
